Most homes complete in 1–2 days for solar + battery, with scaffolding up the day before. EV chargers add 3–4 hours, usually the same week.

Do I need planning permission?

It's the homeowner's responsibility to confirm whether planning permission is required for their property. Solar is permitted development for most homes, but listed buildings and conservation areas have extra requirements, please check with your local planning authority. We're happy to advise based on what we see at survey.

What about cloudy days?

Modern bifacial panels generate even on overcast days (typically 10–25% of peak). A battery stores any surplus from sunny periods so you're never without power.

Will it increase my home value?

Studies suggest a typical uplift of 4–14% depending on system size and EPC impact. EV-ready homes are increasingly favoured by buyers.

Can I add to the system later?

Yes, every system we install is designed to be expanded. Add a battery later, stack more battery capacity, or add an EV charger when needed.
